Terms of Service

1. Who we are

GameSwapz ("we", "us", "the platform") operates gameswapz.com, a marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of game accounts, in-game items, currency, boosting services, and related digital goods. GameSwapz is a marketplace facilitator, not the seller of the listings on it -- each listing is created and fulfilled by an independent third-party seller.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your country, to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and any connected wallet/payment methods secure, and for all activity that happens under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraud, chargebacks, or abuse of other users.

3. Orders and escrow

When you buy a listing, your payment is held in escrow by GameSwapz -- it is not released to the seller immediately. Funds are released to the seller once you confirm delivery, or automatically after the platform's standard confirmation window elapses without a dispute being raised. Digital delivery methods vary by listing (instant automated delivery, manual delivery by the seller, or an in-game/platform trade) and are described on each listing page.

4. Disputes

If an order does not go as described, you can open a dispute before funds are released to the seller. Our support team reviews evidence from both sides (order chat, screenshots, delivery confirmations) and makes a decision on refund, partial refund, or release of funds. Opening a dispute in bad faith, or after you have already received and used the item/account/service, may result in account restrictions.

5. Prohibited conduct

You may not use GameSwapz to sell stolen accounts or items, launder money, circumvent platform fees by moving a transaction off-platform after it started here, submit false KYC information, or attempt to manipulate reviews, auctions, or the AI price oracle. We reserve the right to remove listings and suspend accounts engaged in this behavior, with or without notice.

6. Fees

GameSwapz charges a commission on completed sales, deducted automatically from the seller's payout. Current fee rates are shown in the seller dashboard before a listing goes live and may change with reasonable notice.

7. Wallet balance

Your GameSwapz wallet balance represents funds you have deposited or earned on the platform. It is not a bank deposit and is not insured. Withdrawals are processed to the payout method you provide, subject to identity verification (KYC) for larger amounts as required by our fraud-prevention policies.

8. Limitation of liability

GameSwapz provides the marketplace infrastructure (escrow, chat, dispute resolution) but is not responsible for the underlying game account, in-game item, or third-party platform (e.g. Steam, Riot Games) itself, including any action taken by that third-party platform against a traded account. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount actually held in escrow for the order in question.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use GameSwapz after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
